Try searching YA for this question. It's been asked a million times. There are many different reasons for skipping months. At 14 it's usually because you're hormones haven't settled into a routine yet. However, if you had been like clockwork before, it's probably got a more direct cause. Are you quite thin? Do you do a lot of vigorous exercise? Do you eat like a normal 14 year-old (all junk food & soda)? Do you do drugs/drink alcohol? Are you under a lot of stress? All of these things, alone and/or in combination, can contribute to skipping your period. If you're worried about it (which will also contribute), go see a gynecologist but I'd think twice before letting them throw you on the pill or some other kind of fake hormones.

If you are just starting out with having your periods it can be normal for the periods to be irregular and not occur for several months. If you have had your period for a while now it could mean that something might be wrong.

I would recommend letting your mom know what's going on as well so that she can help you keep an eye on the situation as well and also please let your doctor know what's going on so they can evaluate the situation further.

I had the same issue. it could be stress or because your young. But when you get older if this issue continues you must see a doctor to make sure your ovulating. Not having your period as you should could mean your infertile. Just watch your period write it down on a calender. Request birth control because that will defiantly regulate your period. it wont just come every month but on the same day every month.
