I've had all my 'best' years and I'm quite content to just plod along through life!
I doubt 2008 will throw any better or worse at me so I'll stay my positive self and hope for more good than bad!

I hope so, 2007 was a bad year for me with 3 close deaths in the family so i'm hoping 2008 will be my year of luck. Happy 2008 to you and may be get what you wish for! x

Ahhh .. dear friend. It just has to be. 2007 has been thus far ... one of the worst years of my life. Losing my dad in September has completely broken my heart. Not to mention several other bad things that have happened.
I was a bit down the other day and was thinking about this exact question when suddenly the phrase "2008 is going to be GREAT!" just popped into my head. I took that as a good sign of happier days to come. I have decided that will be my "mantra" for the year as a large part of how things turn out is a result of our attitude each and every day.
So I am professing to you now that YES ~ 2008 is going to be the BEST year of my life!! It has to be ... I am determined to make up for some lost time these past few years. I owe myself that at least. We certainly aren't getting any younger and I don't want to miss out on anymore precious time.
So one more time for the record ...
"2008 IS GOING TO BE GREAT!!!"
I'm counting on you and my other friends here to help hold me to that! ;-)

Thanks, I really hope so. I'm grateful, 2006 and 2007 were the best years I ever had, or at least the best years since a long time ago. I hope 2008 will be likewise or even better...plus I'm graduating!!!!!!!!! I'm out of high school!!!! I'm going to college!!!!!!

Well....I am hoping 2008 will be a better year than 2007....that would be a good start. I don't want to set my hopes too high...but I am fairly optimistic that 2008 will be better. Thank you for the good wishes....I hope 2008 is a good one for you, too!

I truly hope so. I've been under a lot of stress lately and a lot of f*ed up crap has happened to me lately so I truly hope 2008 is when everything goes back to being good.
