AVG is as useful at removing these as a car without wheels.
Try using AVAST http://www.avast.com
Download the free home version, install and choose to scan when next restart, this should get rid of it, you can leave AVG on while doing this.

The simple fact is that AVG has actually done a good job here by detecting the trojan. The problem was only in the healing, this may be because the trojan is attached to a system file or some other running process. To delete you should download and install SuperAntispyware, update this program and AVG.Then disable system restore, reboot in safe mode and run full scans with both programs.Delete or quarantine anything found. When the system shows clear reboot in normal mode and scan with both programs again. If the system is clear you may enable system restore. It is very important that system restore is disabled during the cleanup, otherwise the trojan will return.Simply replacing AVG with Avast will not work.Good luck!!http://www.superantispyware.com/superantispyware.html

Hi,

This may help :-

Get the PC into safe mode then run AVG and at the end of the scan I put the dropper.small.10.an virus in the Virus Vault. Then i went into the virus vault and cleaned (deleted) the vault. Rebooted and ran AVG again and I have not seen the virus yet (knock on wood). How this works for you too.
