I just built one and have a tight fitting glass lid on it. But now I can't see into it because the glass is so foggy.

UM... without knowing the size, there are SCREEN lids crafted for many various dimensions. I have Snakes in 20 gallon that are fine with the screen mesh type, and they are either weighted or clipped.

If you have no livestock, you might be inducing too much moisture/humidity, too often, and you don't state any illumination, Grow light or otherwise.

Obviously you should not only monitor the general, external "environment" IE: AC/Heat...BUT also that environment in the Terrarium, for a consistant balance, depending on what "Lives" in its confines. Certainly no matter,,, livestock or plant life, the object is a clear view, or the idea of keeping it is senseless, unless you're just propogating something.

This brought back memories of large, livingroom coffee table terrariums.

Let more air in and if you notice a change in the plants close lid a little more. Always wanted one of those love plants. Good Luck with them
