Protect the natural wetlands by trying to preserve existing native vegetation on your property.
Do not apply fertilizers or pesticides within 30 feet of wetland areas.

Hardscape with rocks, stones, brick paths, stone planters.
Use water features & use natural materials when you can.
When using boulders in hardscape, make sure they're large enough to fit with the scale of the landscape, and bury them deep enough so they look like a naturally-occuring element.
Create a focal point & include curves and shapes in a way that the hardscape elements transition gracefully into the rest of the landscape.

Rocks in all forms are good. Flat rocks for patio. stackable rocks for walls and seating. Wood in fence it doesn't have to really fence anything put can offer a backdrop for plants roses maybe. Architectural posts or columns in rows. Trellis in rows end to end with space between can be inexpensive and be a great statement.
