"He Knows You're Alone" was Tom Hank's first movie in 1980 but he did some things on TV before that.

He did a lot of TV before he was in the movie Splash (1984)
I wouldn't call He Knows You're Alone a "Tom Hanks" movie.
It was only a bit part.

Tom Hanks was in a movie called "He knows You're Alone." a horror suspense flick about the night before a bride's wedding. It came out in 1980.

...well, the question DID say 'Tom Hanks' FIRST movie', not specifically 'a Tom Hanks movie', so I agree with those who say "He Knows You're Alone"; it WAS his FIRST movie!!!
