my monitor goes to sleep but my tower is still on

i just installed the xbox 360 extender and i turned on some kind of away mode by mistake during setup that lets my 360 still have access to windows media player without having computer on. but i think it also makes my computer stay on just making it a little more energy efficient

so if that is the problem how do i turn off the away mode?

Maybe it is not tired. J/k Did you try to restart it, and then shut it down? That usually works with mine.

Keep your 360 and computer separate for now. Microsoft has a history of jumping the gun, so be patient - wait two or three years!
