Is it cheaper to buy and carry the wipes seperate from the pads? Should I just buy both together in Always brand? I figure the wipes are cheap anyway and the pads are about $5 by themselves. Do you use a wipe everytime you use the bathroom and your on your period. Do you just use it when you feel nasty? So confused the use for them things... Oh and I noticed actual baby wipes and vinegar/water douches make me smell. Any better ideas?

I use the always brand that have them both together. I don't use the wipe everytime I use the bathroom. Typically I use the wipe each time I need to change the pad because that's pretty gross.

You say that actual baby wioes and vinegar/water douches make you smell. In that case, I would definitely try the always brand wipes. They seem to be a little bit different than baby wipes and stuff.

Hope this helps. :-)

Always Pads With Wipes

I don't know about the cheapness, but I do know that baby wipes do come in "unscented" variety that truly are non smellable.

I use a tampon as much as possible so I don't get to feeling "nasty." But if I do feel that way, I'd sit down in my bath tub and take a warm bath. Our shower head has a long hose on it so it can clean anything thoroughly.

By the way, douches are not good for you. Your vagina has the right chemicals already in it, and if you wash them away, you leave yourself open to infections, like yeast infections.

I don't know about Always brand, but I do know that the baby wipes are NOT flushable. Are they biodegradable? Idk, but this is important to me.

Take care. Time to put on the potato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.

I like the pads with the wipes on them. They make me feel a little fresher when I have my period. I usually use them when I'm at work and I change my pad. At home I have access to a shower so I sometimes don't bother. I save them and use them before sex cause its convenient, and why have two showers?

i buy the combo pack
i don't always use the wipes so i'll keep them for extra incase i feel gross down there.
it's very verstile because you can't carry a big thing of wipes and the pad is usually credit card thin that you could just put in your pocket.

they are over priced. Just buy some flushable wipes for when you feel not so fresh. You can put a few in a small zip lock bag, and just take one out when you need it.
