Since Regan the United States of America has been without a real leader, the corporate elitist figure heads named Ron, Bill and the two George's have spent the last 25 years destroying America. The coup of 2000 ended any pretense of legitimacy attached to the Presidency, and now I can be arrested, detained indefinitely without any charges being filed against me, and vanish for even writing this.
I feel your fear, and it is good that you are aware of the horrific state our country is in, unfortunately getting sucked into the blame game between liberal and conservative or Dem vs Rep is why our country is currently being looted by International corporate elitists. While we fight among each other Bush and Cheney funnel billions of our tax dollars to their corporate fronts under the guise of a "war on terror" and destroy the Constitutional protections originally instilled in the United States Government. A coin called the "Looney" is worth more than an American dollar, yet we still quarrel like children over stupidity. Sun Tzu said all warfare was based on economics, and he was right. We as Americans forgot that, and now we reap what we sowed.
Those in positions of power to impeach these criminals are themselves so corrupt and dirty they cannot risk exposing their own corruption to punish the Executive Branch's crimes. The Legislative Branch's of Congress are helping Bush and Cheney loot our country, and like Rome, we rot from within. European and Asian economic interests own our Industrial base and our middle class go the way of the passenger pigeon.
Rome, Greece, the Chinese Dynasties even the Soviet Union fell eventually. I fear America may be history's next great causality. Both the Dems and Rep's are guilty, finger pointing is just a distraction while they continue to dismantle the U.S.A., Since August of 2007 over 720 major U.S. companies have been purchased outright by foreign interests, with the blessing of Bush and Cheney. The destruction of America that Reagan and Clinton started is being finished with Bush and Cheney in a truly bi-partisan act of American Government.
Your best bet is to get a job at McDonald's, and steal a happy meal for your kid on your break, pretty soon it will be a wholly owned subsidiary of a European or Asian conglomerate anyway, and jobs will be that hard to find. I think we import apple pies too, you can't get an American made Chevy any more and baseball is as disgraced as the American reputation abroad. Not a very positive observation, I can only hope the trend eventually reverses.
Prayer might be our only hope.

Where do you live. I own some strong dollars. I find them so much more so then in the 80's when we were paying 50% more for a British Pound then today. When we paid 18% mortgage interest rates. Of course, you have to excuse me. I lived during those times I have a basis for comparison. You however, seem to just be parroting.

No good blaming Clinton America is like no other dominant great power in modern history—because it depends on other countries for capital to sustain its military and economic dominance. and as US imports are greater than your exports
America is getting deeper into debt added to this is the fact that the American economy depends on international trade being done in Dollars and as the Dollar is starting to seem hardly worth the paper its printed on international traders are losing confidence in it and becoming more inclined towards trading in the Euro or Yen

I never thought I would see the day when the Canadian dollar was worth more than the US dollar. I can't believe that the only guy talking about how hard the working class people are having it because of the fall of the dollar is Ron Paul.
If your wealth is in stocks you haven't felt it yet but once the "Fed" stops propping you up, you will.
Ron Paul has been fighting the "Fed" for years trying to get them to be more accountable to the congress. He has been one of a very few as the rest of congress are too busy "buying" their support so they can come back next term and divvied up the "loot" for 4 more years.

Nah, lets use our worthless dollar to support a war in Iraq that is bankrupting us. Bush holds hands with the Prince of Saudi Arabia and the price of oil soars. I guess Clinton can be blamed for the housing market crash too. How about our high standing in the world. Clinton too? What about habius corpus? Another Clinton cop out? "Not a nation of nation builders." Another Clinton quote? "Heck of job, Brownie." Did Clinton say that? Wake up, you are dragging us down with them.

As much as I dislike Clinton, Bush pushed this rock over the cliff. Yes Clinton helped the situation along by increasing our debt with China. He allowed them to start buying us. Bush made sure we are slim pickings now. How many wheel barrels do you have? This sounds funny but we wont be laughing very soon. God bless us all.

Think this current Pres. has done a far better job of giving/selling out the US considering all the money he has borrowed from China for his criminal war in Iraq.
