The icons on my laptop are giant please help!!?

today when i turned on my laptop the icons are bigger then usual and i cant play my favorite game maplestory becuase the thing is so big! please help me please

Right click on your desktop
Choose properties.
Select the settings tab.
slide your resolution over to the right to maybe 1024 x 768 or higher.
Hit apply or whatever it is.

somehow your resolution has been changed. i'm no expert, but this means that there are fewer pixels per inch on your screen, so images will look bigger and grainier (that's why the more pixels the better pic quality). here's how to fix it:
1. Right click anywhere on your desktop (except don't click on any icons) and Left click on "Properties"
2. There should be a few tabs at the top of the screen that pops up, with a tab (usually the last on the right side) labeled "Settings". Click on the "Settings" tab
3. Here you should see something about screen resolution, yours is probably set low right now (under 1000 pixels). Just move the slider to make it a higher resolution and hit Apply
4. It will automatically then change your screen to the new resolution and a box will pop up asking you if you want to keep the current settings. If you like the new resolution, hit Yes. If not, hit No and go back and repeat the process until you find a resolution you like

the same thing happened on my regular computer, it took me a while to figure out that i could drag them to make them smaller.Try dragging it to resize it.
