I am a 300 pound guy, what do you think? Yeah I can cook pretty good. Tonight is a pot roast with little red potatoes, carrots, green beans, and onion. With apple pie for dessert. Although to be fair about it, it's a store bought pie.
My Dad had to teach himself how to cook at a young age, or starve. His step mother was a cruel person, and wouldn't feed him or his older brother. Just her own kids. Then when my parents got married, Dad found out that the only thing Mom knew how to cook was tuna casserole. She made it every night for a few weeks. At first he just thought that she REALLY liked it. After that he started doing most of the cooking. Very strange for a special forces Marine. But he is a very good cook, and he taught me how to make quite a few things. The rest I was able to figure out on my own.
Also, I was the only cook at a steak house for three months. Being the only one there from open to close on Mother's Day is not a pleasant time!

HELLZ yeah. I can cook like mad.

Very rarely do any leftovers last for more than a day or two when I cook. And very rarely will people only have one serving, unless I made just enough for one serving.

There are almost never left-overs when I cook for a family gathering, and there are usually "fights" as to who gets to take it home.

Yes...I'm actually a really good cook, and I love doing it. Cleaning up after myself isn't the biggest thrill, but someone has to.

I'd say my "signature" dish is my lasagna. When I have time I make the noodles and the sauce from scratch.

Otherwise, I love to experiment with dishes. You know, find something and alter to make it my own.

If beans and toast don't count, I'll say cereal.

Yep does this count two roasts in two days with fresh vegetables and home made Yorkshire puddings? I'm so sick of the sight of food now.
