How far apart is your baby's last nap from bedtime?
How many naps are they taking and for how long? How often are they waking at night?

My son is just 4 months his sleep is varied day to day as we don't keep him on a schedule. But roughly he goes to bed around 10 then he sleeps through the night until 7 or 8. Sometimes he'll take a 3-4 hour nap at 11 sometimes it will be only 30 minutes. Then he'll take 3-4 more 30 min naps every 2 hours. His last nap is about an hour before bed. But we have Sam play on the floor most of that hour to get him really tired. Hope this helps

when my son was 4 months, he was taking 3 naps a day, all around 45 minutes long. the last one would usually begin about 3-4 hours before bedtime.

and he was waking up no more than once a night... that is until he started teething!

My son will be 5 months in a few days. He currently takes about 4 naps a day, they last for 45 minutes each.
He is usually awake for about two hours before he has a nap. His last nap of the day is at 5. He'll wake up from his nap around 5:45 and then go to bed at about 7:30.
He sleeps from 7:30 to 6:30 or 7:00 in the morning with one feed at around 2am.

At this age (now 7 months old) she was only awake for 2hrs at a time and then she'd take a nap. Her last nap was usually at around 5-6pm and in bed by 8. She usually did 4-5 naps a day. :)
Hope you had a merry christmas.

my son just turned 6 months. At that age his last nap could be hours before bedtime or even just 30 minutes before. He set his own schedule at that age

If I remember right... My daughter woke up around 9:00 a.m., took a nap from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and another nap from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and then to bed around 9:00 p.m. She slept through the night.
