I'm sure you have had that dinner and I hope you two had a wonderful time..

My choice would be a nice family owned (not a chain) Italian place.. We have a wonderful small restaurant not far from us and the owner (a small Italian grandma type with strong accent) comes out and greets everyone once they have their meal and asks if everything is ok.. She's actually the owner
This made my wife tear up the first time we went because she said it reminded her of her grandmother..

Enjoy

Like everyone else says don't worry. To make you feel better you could treat yourself more - a more expensive meal, side orders etc so you don't look cheap as what you are paying for is higher. You could ask the waiter if it is ok if he says no then just choose a side order from main menu for one of the twins and when the meals come split it anyway and share the side order between you. The idea of the large tip is good as well. The children are young even my 5 year old can't eat a full childs meal in many restaurants they seem more suitable for 8/9 year olds appetite I wish more people did toddler meals if you are lucky this restaurant may and you could then get three therefore paying for one.

Someplace away from your home, but not too far of a drive away (to cause him to get stressed), that has an open, casual atmosphere, where you can R-E-L-A-X.
I like Lone Star Texas Grill, because the music is upbeat, the servers are usually upbeat, and you can throw peanut shells on the floor.
If the server is MALE, you will love it. And if the server is FEMALE, you will love watching how your man acts!!!!
Hope you all enjoy every minute of it!

Depends on what you're in the mood for. Are you wanting a night out on the town? Go out, eat some great Italian or Chinese and go out dancing!!
Or, if you're just wanting to stay home, order take out, watch a great comedy or romantic movie, and "sleep in" if ya know what I mean.

Bring home a pizza and a gallon of Dago Red and eat in the bedroom. That way you'll have a head start on what's really on your mind.
