I hope Clemens get fried. He should be forcxed to give back his Cy Young awards
Vick got slammed because what he did was abhorrent.
Bonds got slammed because he cheated to break the most revered record in sports...if he had been a utility infielder in Milwalkee no one would have cared

Clemens gets little criticism? Have you read the news? Besides, Bonds admitted to taking the "clear" which were steroids and has a bad attitude. Marion Jones is Black and the press left her alone. If it's JUST race as you say...then I would agree. The facts don't support your claim.
Obama I'm sure faces a little discrimination and so do the white people running. I'm sure that some Blacks will vote for him JUST BECAUSE he is black. I would vote for Barack before Hilliary, but not sure on about the new guys on the replican ticket. I'd say that Barack is doing pretty good, in many areas, but is losing nationwide.
People should be punished for their crimes, EVEN if they are Black. The race card is getting real old. It's needed in some circumstances...and unfortunately, people that play it every hand ruin it for those who really need it. The Duke rape case is just another example.

I remember when Colin Powell was considering running for President. Polling (if you believe in polls) gave him a 70% approval rate. The black population in this country is about 20%. I don't believe that indicates racism in America. Some blacks told me whites liked him because he was "an uncle Tom". Still, a racist wouldn't care if he was or wasn't. All a racist sees is black skin. Vick killed dogs for sport and money. Bonds might or might not have taken steroids. His real crime is he didn't kiss up to the press and God love him for that. Nope, not racism in my opinion. If Obama gets trampled it will be politics, not racism.

Race has nothing to do with what happened to Vick and Bonds. If Obama gets the nomination for Prez there will always be a small number of racists who won't vote for him because he's a Black man. Most people will base their choice on the issues.

Vick and Bonds are prominent sports figures involved in controversy. America loves to tackle the "king of the mountain". Individuals are racist, not societies. Obama and all other polititians will be subject to ridicule.

Unfortuetly this country is still very racist. Obama will never be elected. The entire south will be lost, and at least a couple of northern blue states.

It means that America is not racist and doesn't listen to drivel that claims that Blacks can be cruel to animals because it is in their culture. It is a great thing that they weren't allowed to weasel out because of their race.

Please, lets not start the 'poor black victim' argument again. These 2 men u mentioned committed immoral & illegal acts and they were punished for it. Others will be punished when enough info comes to light.
