i just got a new computer for christmas and it came with a bunch of disks..i also have a laptop that is broken and i need some disk that i dont remember what it is called .. out of these disks which one would fix my laptop if any?
drivers and user documentation
microsoft works 8.5
roxio creator & MyDVD 9.0 DE
there are a few more but they all said they were already on the computer so i figured they wouldnt work but would any of these three?

it just wont turn on right..it will turn on and stuff but it says something didnt load properly or something and only the background comes up not the start menu or any of the icons..and when i push cntrl+alt+delete it comes up but i cant start a new program..everything is gone.

Yes , none of this will do anything to fix it , they are all software.
If you can tell us what exactly is wrong with your laptop we may be able to help.
