If I am exhausted yes I could sleep with the light on, with having two small children one of which a baby and the other a toddler, I have been so tired that I will sleep through the alarm and my husband has had to wake me when the babies been screaming so the light wouldn't hurt. I like a good pitch black room to sleep in though, but I suppose I could sleep with the light on.

Not only can I sleep with the light on...I can fall asleep in front of the tv sitting up on the sofa! Getting old I guess...used to only be able to sleep in the dark with a fan going. Actually I have a lot of health problems and it's related to a sleep disorder...
Happy day after Christmas!

SIOBHAN,How was your Christmas Day! Wish you all well! I can sleep with lights on, but prefer the lights off! There is a light post outside my glass windows, that I keep closed at night! It's better without lights! Take care! Jimmy.

Yes I can. Somehow. I'm not really sure how but I can sleep in light or dark. If I'm really tired then no light can stop me!

I used to sleep in a haunted room once, and mastered the art of sleeping with a light on.
However, now days, in a nicer and quieter room, I find it difficult, and I remember reading somewhere that its actually bad for you to sleep with a light on.

I find it a lot more difficult to sleep with a light on....which is one of the many reasons why I find it so hard to sleep in hospitals.

A little light off in the distance maybe, but certainly not with a bright overhead light.
