judging by the answers I am seeing, married men cheat and it is their fault. Married women cheat because the man the married is not, or will not satisfy them(sexually or otherwise). Seems to me women are looking for a way to place the blame. If you cheat, then you are an untrustworthy bastard/***** no matter the situation. You made the decision to take the commitment to get married. If you can't be faithful just get out and let the other person be happy. Dont cheat and add insult to injury.

Honey some men cheat because their selfesteem is low and they meet someone new that makes them feel as good as new because as their wives you already know what they do and don't have in life but you know half of the tome they lie to them. But than again some men get bored with their wives sexually because some women decide not to have sex that often once they get married and some men are just dogs.

Only they know the answer to this. I asked my husband why he cheated and he still doesn't know why except to say he tried to comfort an 'old friend' and it led to sex.
I really don't think most people go out looking to cheat and most don't think they ever would do so - any reasons given or just excuses for their actions anyway. I think more than not being satisfied in their present sexual relationship, it is the inability to communicate with the spouse about what they feel they are lacking.

It's not only married men that cheat. My male friend said he cheats not because he's not happy but because it's something about getting some new stuff that turns him on.
Men don't cheat because they're unhappy like women. Men do it as a recreational fantasy.

Not all married men cheat. Those who do cheat..cheat because they are dishonest creepy men who do not care about the feelings of others at all.

well im married and have not cheated or going to cheat the reason why is cuz they have a women to go home to that will support them help them and love them anything out side of the marriage is play not real

They cheat because they are shallow and just want more sex and money. If married men cheat, then they are just plain immature and have no right to be married in the first place.

There are so many reasons. The are not satisfied with the sex with the partner, they might fall in love with someone else, they want to be cool and prove a point, they just feel like doing it, they need something exciting in their life's. Who knows all i know is that men are WEIRD.
