Other than the obvious Wii Sports that comes with the console, what are some other games that get the player up and moving?

Raymans Raving Rabbids is a great active game. It is a large collection of fun mini games that require a lot of movement. Good choice. I would avoid Carnival Games if you are looking for active games. They are fun but not as active.
I would also suggest Sonic and Mario at the Olympic Games. Very active. I played it at a friends house for awhile. I'm thinking about buying that one. Lots of movement. Its a lot like Wii Sports, only much more to it.
I love Boxing on Wii Sports too. Have you tried some of the training modes for bowling for Wii sports? Those will really work your body. Great workout.
Wii Fit is coming out sometime in 2008. That one is all about working out.
I dont personally like DDR, but it is a great game for working out. They have Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party for Wii. It is a very popular game, and gives a good solid work out.

well definitely NOT Wii play, but some active games are dance dance revolution, guitar hero if you like to dance around when you play( I DO) (!_!),and most of the time twilight princess but for most games you cant just sit and do it you have to get up and get into it, like if your actually swingin at some random ***** monster!!!

mostly all of them do since their arent any traditional controlls......expect with the old style controls
