I have a slim PSP and I connect it to the computer using a usb port. The computer isn't recognizing it. What should I do. I have a memory stick.

what o/s (operating system) are you running windows xp/vista work for my psp but erlier require usb drivers and stuff and i don't think mac works ethier....i don't have one so im not sure

when u plug the cable into the psp and your computer:

on the psp goto settings and nere the top is usb connection press X and folow the instructions

on the computer goto my computer if its on your desktop or it should be in the start menu. then double click on the removeable disk and ur on your psp memory stick

WARNING: DO NOT DELETE ANY FOLDERS THIS WILL SCREW UP UR PSP PUT STUFF IN THEM AND THATS IT AND LEAVE THE PSP FOLDER ALONE

You do not give enough information for us to help you, although it could be that your computer is overused; try disconnecting your printers or other USB-based devices, then plug in the PSP and see what happens.

If that doesn't work, consult the retailer from whom you purchased the PSP or computer.
