Absolutely. I never leave the house without my leatherman. I carried the same exact one in my pocket every day for like 7 years, then one day I lost it. The next day, I ran to the store and bought another one just like it. You can never go wrong being prepared with a multi-tool.

I've carried some kind of knife for about 20 years now. I actually have three different pocket knives in my purse right now. One is a single blade, sharp with a sharp, pointy tip. I originally bought it with thoughts of "personal protection" and it was priced right. I also have one of those miniature Swiss Army knives. I really like it, because it's small, it has a light on it, and the knife blade is very sharp. It also has a very small pair of scissors on it which are also sharp, and it has tweezers and a couple of other things. Very handy. The third knife I carry is a very nice small/medium sized Leatherman-type unit. It was accidentally left at my stand by an elderly customer, and I kept it in my apron so I could return it to him if he ever came through again. He never did. After awhile, I began using it and found it to be quite a nice set with a very sharp and much sharpened blade.

Always!! That is, until I lose the darn thing, I'm good at that! Yes, I try and carry one with me at all times, it comes in handy all the time.

I don't... my husband does though! I think that's kinda a male thing to carry pocket knives.. I think I might have one in my purse somewhere..

i used to, well it werent exactly a small knife it had a 5 inch blade and i took it to school and got grassed up now i have a criminal record.
do what you want to feel safe but just dont get caught.
