Habeas corpus deals with unlawful imprisonment by the government, not Yahoo suspending your account. Your only way to punish Yahoo is to take your business elsewhere, but I don't they will miss you too much.

Habeus corpus and freedom of speech are things we require of our government, not privately owned websites. If you don't like the way Yahoo! Answers is run, you are welcome to find another website to spend your time on. Or you could start your own website and provide habeus corpus there. Yahoo! is a private business and they don't have to cater to anyone's wants or needs. If their business practices become horrible, they will either lose customers or change.

I think they pick and choose incorrectly - those that are blatantly offensive seem to remain while innocent remarks/questions/answers are removed. I know someone whose profile was deleted for attempting to be curtieous to each belief over the holiday and at the same time I have seen blatant offensive remarks for which I have reported and yet they remain.

NOt in the sense you mean. The Y/A forums are the property of Yahoo--and they can set the rules as they see fit. If you don't like the rules, go elsewhere.

Wake up! Yahoo is a privately-owned website. You have no "rights" here that are being violated. If you don't like the way Yahoo is operated, don't use it.
