Why do people say we're too perfect a family, and that it sounds too good to be true???

I get along with my siblings, most of the time (I'm not saying we don't have our differences)...... We're as close as glue, for the most part........... Me and my twin sister Chelsea always joke around, my little brother Ted always says when he's scared, "Mom, can I sleep in Tommy's room?" And my sister Joleen and I always tease each other--in a good way, of course...... And I taught my brother to pray, "Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, who's the fastest gets the most. Amen." Oh, and one more thing: the word "divorce" is nowhere in my parents' vocabulary........

Why do people say it sounds too much like a "T.V. family"?

I think your family sounds awesome, I just looked at your profile and a couple of your questions, and your affection for them is evident, and your parents are clearly doing something right!
(Are they looking to adopt any more? :)
When others make comments like that, well, maybe they're a little jealous, and need a good friend all the more, maybe they aren't having such a good time at home...it's good that you appreciate your life....

I would be happy and take that compliment with a smile and a cup of tea! A lot of people don't have families like yours so they are just letting you know that you should be thankful for having such a loving and close family. My family is the same way, we are a bit ornery though. LOL
