Let's say the Pats are up by 10, it's the end of the 3rd quarter, and Brady gets sacked by the backup LE causing a freaky season-ending injury (my bf, a huge Pats fan, says this is his worst nightmare). The Pats go on to win and complete their 16-0 regular season. How would you feel about that?

Himan23: you do realize that the Giants lead the NFL in sacks, right?

He also could get hit by a car crossing the street. Going prefect in a season is way more important than winning the super Bowl. Somebody wins the Superbowl every year nobody but 72 Dolphins and the cry baby Shula has won every game. So the Pats have got to do everything possible
to go undefeated and win the Superbowl.

The only way he will be playing in the second half is if the Pats second team blows the lead that the first team gained in the first half. I have a feeling that this is going to be a VERY BORING game. (Just like 14 of the Pats' other games!)
But, it would be nice to see Tom Brady actually deal with adversity for once.
Brady has never dealt with an important injury this year. I'm a Pittsburgh fan, and I feel the need to bring up Big Ben. He suffered a car wreck and was seconds away from death. He got total facial reconstruction. He broke his thumb, and he had an emergency appendectomy...all in a matter of three months!! The simple fact that he is still among the top 5 QBs in the NFL says a lot about his talent. I would like to see if Brady could stay on top of his game after injuries like that!!

Valid what if question, but i do not think any Giants player would risk the wrath of the NFL with Goodel as the commissioner. He has admittedly stated in a radio interview that any player attempting to cause or causing another player no matter the team a serious injury could face stiff fines and suspension penalties. so far its worked to scare off injuries and most teams have remained healthy. It would be tough even for a player saying it was a clean hit and not get shunned by Goodel. He is tired of those kind of tactics in the NFL because of the spinal cord injuries of past years. I think the Giants would be very careful as would the Pats of harming another player like that. I would not want any injury to happen to even a Colts player who is basically a team I dislike. if a Patriot player whether intensionally or accidentally hurt a Colts player no matter who it was I'd be pissed at the Pats player and hope he does get fined and suspended. That how I feel.

I have read "what if Brady gets hurt" questions here since about game 3 of the season. Can't you come up with something new? Like, who's better, Peyton Manning or Tom Brady? Or, Do you think the Pats will go 19-0?

It would suck. But the reality is Brady won't be playing the 2nd half if they are up. The goal is to win the Superbowl. 16-0 is great. but they want to win the superbowl.

Then the pats would be screwed...of course it depends on how severe the injury is, but i still think the giants will get their asses kicked.

It will be the end of the world! I never want my favorite quarterback of all time lose the superbowl and get injured. I don't even want to think about it.

what if you leave your house and get hit by a car tomorrow morning? what if my mom hadnt gotten plastered at the drunken barn dance in 1971? life's to short for what-ifs but 19-0 would live forever. wow, i should make that into a bumper sticker or something.
