The Nazis declared war on smoking, supported abortion, euthanasia, and gun control. They loathed the free market, provided generous pensions for the elderly, and maintained a strict racial quota system in their universities—where campus speech codes were all the rage. The Nazis led the world in organic farming and alternative medicine. Hitler was a strict vegetarian, and Himmler was an animal rights activist.

"We are socialists, we are enemies of today's capitalistic economic system for the exploitation of the economically weak, with its unfair salaries, with its unseemly evaluation of a human being according to wealth and property instead of responsibility and performance, and we are all determined to destroy this system under all conditions." --Adolf Hitler

NAZIS believed in free health care and guaranteed jobs. They confiscated inherited wealth and spent vast sums on public education. They purged the church from public policy, promoted a new form of pagan spirituality, and inserted the authority of the state into every nook and cranny of daily life.

Sound familiar?

"There is more that binds us to Bolshevism than separates us from it. There is, above all, genuine, revolutionary feeling, which is alive everywhere in Russia except where there are Jewish Marxists. I have always made allowance for this circumstance, and given orders that former Communists are to be admitted to the party at once. The petit bourgeois Social-Democrat and the trade-union boss will never make a National Socialist, but the Communists always will." --Hitler

Sounds like a typical modern day liberal to me. I've always known Hitler was a leftist, but many Americans are brainwashed into thinking otherwise.
Fascism is always left wing, btw.

The NAZIs aligned themselves very quickly with the industrialists, they preached an extreme nationalism, and they aligned themselves with the mainstream Lutheran church(despite your attempt to re-write that bit of history). They saw to it that every German soldier got a bible and a belt buckle that said God was on their side. They appealed to the folkways of the "majority" of German culture right down to promoting its basest biggotry.

They outlawed unions, and it was illegal to strike, and if you happened to be in a job they deemed important, then you needed your employer's permission to even quit.

Saying the Nazis were socialists is like saying the North Korean government is Democratic because it is called the Democratic People's Republic of Korea when it is neither Democratic nor a Republic in any proper sense.

Time for you to read a few history books. It's not as if this isn't one of the best documented histories you can find.

Ya silly person.

Communism is finally dispensing all commodities the two in the process a usa and turns into corupt, superb to dictatorship and each and all of the various factors that have been shown to accompany communism by employing way of historic previous. Hitler did now no longer earnings skill by employing way of exploitation of communism, yet by employing way of rhetoric and acceptance into the bourgeoisie, superb to an basically appropriate capitalist skill. Communism and fascism are extremely opposites; they are basically seen as alike through certainty of dictatorship. The dictatorship in communism is basically eliminating from what communism is, it particularly is equality between all, jointly as fascism is dictatorship in fact gained by employing way of capitalism, being sustained by employing way of administration contained interior the bourgeoisie. Communism is definitely seen incorrectly as a dictatorship jointly as actually it particularly is definitely the required function of fascism. in spite of the fact that Hitler's perspectives have been socialist, he gained an identical capitalist skill that any prosperous conservative could have from aquiring capital and for this reason having a miles better bodily powerful voice politically.

dude,,, this is a pretty far stretch. First of all, everyone is aware of the name Nazi was National Socialist Workers party. However, it was far from being a socialist government.

In the end though he was a totalitarian leader. Thats decidedly right wing.

National Socialist does not equate to regular socialism. Hitler did not nationalize industry. Nazi Germany was a nationalist "corporatist" authoritarian state with the government aligned with industry but not owning it.

EDIT: Yes he loved all those communists he sent to the gas chamber and invaded Russia because he loved Bolsheviks.

in practice hitler was ultra right wing and took many of his programs from german industrialists.

in fact, de facto courts were held at gustav krupp's hideous castle on the ruhr river called villa hugel.

read the arms of krupp and see a remarkable photo of gustav krupp addressing a gathering of the army, navy and air force - including hitler, goring and goebbels.

hitler when he was first starting was a bit of a socialist but it was only AFTER he got the endorsement of big business was he able to propel himself into real power.

in a now famous fund raising speech given by schact - he announced hiter with the line:
"we are about to have the last election for 1,000 years..."

not one of the business executives who were assembled left the room - they in fact, heavily endorsed this idea.

the nazis raised millions of marks that night - 500,000 from krupp himself.

to call hitler a socialist either marks you as a complete idiot or a complete liar - in this case there is no in-between.

you can take quotes from hitler from when he was a powerless youth and represent them as the way he belived (in other words, lie about it) or you can admit that when ernst rohm (leader of the feared brown shirts) started talk of a 'second revolution' to realign the nazis back to their original cause - he and thousands of his most loyal supporters were all murdered in one night, now called the night of long knives.

what was the straw that broke the camel's back - some rohm supporters stopped work at a krupp arms factory in the ruhr.
a meeting was convened in villa hugel and shortly thereafter, thousands of brown shirt leaders were killed.

but in keeping with the insane republican rhetoric of the day, some moronic pundits out there will take quotes from hitler's youth and represent them as the ideology that led him to commit mass murder on a scale and enthusiasm that had never before been done.

You are misinformed...

Hitler was a right-wing (3rd Reich, they called it) Communist.
"Reich" translates to reachdom or righteousness - which is the same etymology of how we refer to the "right wing" in America.

His opponents at first were the Democratic Socialists (from which his party had divided themselves from).

Hitler did not like the socialists for 1 reason - they had Parlaiment. He wanted authoritarian rule without the interference of a "congress or parlaiment".

What's not right-wing about that?

Even Ann Coulter wants to claim it - she's a hardcore right winger...

There are just different degrees to which people believe in his way of thinking... but that way is definitely reicht-wing.

because the nazi party beef up national security and the millitary, they installed the enabling act which is similar to the patriot act,the naxi party also supported preventive warfare in their war of choice.

the naxi party also fed off people's patriotism.also if u wasn't for the naxi party then u were not a partiot and was communist, same like when republicans claim if ur not for the war ur not a patriot and is helping the enemy.

and also just because u suppport abortion, against smoking in public, and all the things u list doesn't make u a socialist, thats not the definiton of socialism.

"Socialist" is one of the most incorrectly used words ever. It is used by tyrants all across the political spectrum.

Hitler was no socialist, there is nothing socialist about genocide, eugenics, racism, and world domination.
