This summer, I briefly dated a guy who was a Yankees fan. He was a great person, but lets just say we didn't watch Red Sox vs. Yankees games together!

I dated a girl who's family liked the Orioles & we all went to an O's/Yankees game a few years back & I wore my Jeter jersey & they kind of like made a few comments but after the game they were quite on the ride back home cause the O's lost that game. My girlfriend wasn't a baseball fan but she went to game anyway but this girlfriend & I liked 2 different football teams she liked the Cowboys & I liked the Redskins & it made for some interesting fun & silly bets on like who would have to pay for dinner or cook dinner.

I think it depends on how huge of a fan you are. If you bleed Yankee Blue and he is a Red Sox fan, there is no way but, if like in our house, you can agree to hate the same team its ok.
Ours is Football.
I am a diehard Redskins fan and my hubby is a serious Cowboys fan. It hasn't really caused a problem (weve been married 12 years) because we both REALLY REALLY hate the Eagles! Besides I am willing to admit that although I love them, The 'skins stink.

It just wouldn't work, LOL. I'm a die hard Yankees fan and my best friends new husband is a Red Sox fan.....that's bad enough!!!! I couldn't imagine my mate rooting for the other team!

It's all baseball. Anyway, when it gets to some snugglation late at night, you can ask him/her to wear their favorite jersey and imagine that you are in fact doing what many at the ballpark proclaim they should do.
If you don't get this, well, you're just too young, and don't worry about it. Youth is precious.

Yeah! Why not! It would be fun to watch games with them. better than not a baseball fan at all, then they'd just get all PO'ed and jealous while you watch the games.
