Lol, I read this book and we had an in-class debate on it..
Anyways, here goes:
George and Lennie are like brothers...if you look at life during the Dust Bowl, times were hard and families were torn apart.
George could have left Lennie anyday. George could've left Reed and let the authorities take lennie so he would run off, start somewhere new with a better job and won't have Lennie as a hindrance anymore..the fact that George helped Lennie escape shows that they really care for each other
Lennie and george depend on each other. Lennie is childlike, he doesn't know much things and relies on George to keep him out of trouble. George, on the other hand, relies on lennie because lennie is innocent. he still holds on to the innocence that most children have...he doesn't know of harsh times. And george appreciates how innocent lennie is.

You can find the relationship dynamic between George and Lennie if you should actually decide to read the book Of Mice and Men. You would also have at least a chance if you Googled Of Mice and Men and found the notes on the topic.

Okay seeing as your asking so much about this book.. Im just gunna copy out some of my classwork, It might help
in chapter one lennie and george are searching for work, The relationship they have is showen very quickly, Lennie is like a child and likes to touch soft things, He has a dead mouse in his pocket so he can stroke it as there walking along, When George sees this he treats him like a child and makes lennie throw it away "give it here lennie" This shows there father-son like relationship.
George and lennie are two travelling farm hands, they're camping beside a pool in a valley. The next day they are due to begin work on a ranch.
It is clear that george - small and quick witted is the one in charge. He looks after lennie who is huge and child like.
We learn that the two men had to leave the town of weed because lennie frightened a girl there. George gets angry because he always has to get lennie out of trouble. When lennie offers to leavehim and go away George is sorry for being mean.
We fiond out that lennie loves to "pet" soft things, especially small animals. He does not understand how great his strength and likes to play with them he often ends up acidentaly killing them "why'd you have to die? i did'n bounce you hard"
george speaks about their dream of buying their own place He tells lennie to come back to the pool if he gets in any trouble at the new ranch, The next day they set off for the new ranch
Okay thats a summary of chapter one.. Hope it helps

This is your tenth question about Of Mice and Men. I'm concerned that you are not learning anything since you haven't read the book. How are you going to pass your tests in class? And you should always check Wikipedia and consult at least one other source than Wiki when researching something. All the answers are probably in that or are definitely in your book or your notes. Good luck on your test; I hope the answers are all yours.
