Of course it is. I recommend talking with the high school counselor about personality tests. You can find some online (see links below). This could help you understand yourself a little better and may give you an idea of what you might be interested in. Think about what you enjoy doing. For example, if your friends seem to talk to you about their problems and you enjoy listening to them and helping them consider being a counselor (major in counseling psychology). If you enjoy working with sick people consider something like nursing (many different opportunities there).
It may help to make a list of things that you enjoy doing...even hobbies...photography, writing, putting things together, tutoring, etc. Also, look at various colleges and universities and the different programs they offer.
Just go with what you are interested in and are passionate about.

Definitely! I'm 18 and have changed my mind so many times. Do well in high school, research majors/career options online(collegeboard.com), and talk with your school counselor. You can always mark "undecided" as your major when applying to college and some colleges don't even require you to decide until later on. Don't put too much pressure on deciding your major now and concentrate more on what interests you. You can use this to match your interests with a major and ultimately your career.

Yeah it's fine. Even in college a lot of people aren't sure what to major in and many people I know, myself included, have changed their major.
For example: I was originally a Physics major, switched to Math education, and then switched once more to Chemistry education.
Two of my friends were also physics majors, they both switched to chemistry, and one switched again to history.
Not knowing what you want to do isn't something you should worry about right now, but you should still give it thought. There is nothing like taking classes only to have them not count towards the major you switch to when you aren't sure if it's right for you.

Yeah, most people who talk about what they want to major in at your age never even go through with it. Just get good grades in high school and worry about your major when you find something you really enjoy. If you just choose something now but dont really care about it, you will probably end up changing majors anyways.

Absolutely! It's even OK when you enter college; that's what the first 2 years are for--to explore different options. Take all the career counseling opportunities you come across, and try different classes.
