No, but it is one of the sciences of God. Sanskrit is Read Bhagavad Gita (the Song of God)as it is Spoken by God Himself also known as Krishna, Allah, Jehovah, Elohim, Vishnu, Rama, etc.) Krishna says that in the eternal world every step is a song and every word is a dance. We speak Sanskrit. The Ancient Vedas are the Sciences of everything. Medicine, Astrology, Math, Architecture, life, etc.

That's a quote by Galileo. Remember he lived in a time where God and the Church were everywhere. You couldn't say (or even think) different, because you would be expelled or even killed.
As "God" is a concept that represents perfection and "the everything", you can also compare mathematics with it.
Mathematics are everywhere in Nature. All relationships and shapes can be represented by a mathematic equation. For a scientific of that time (Galileo) it may represent the language or "code" through which God created and expressed all in this Universe.
If you are an atheist, you can also be wandered by Nature and how everything is behind it: not only math, but the chaos, that also seems to have an "order" behind it. That's not the explanation or prove that God exists. Or at least, is not the prove that the Christian, or Muslim or other type of known God exists.
After all, the concept "god" has many different meanings. And "god" may be the math behind all the Universe...and not a "conscious" being that reigns and states what's wrong or what's right. Just a "law" (a mathematical law that includes all the others) through which the Universe (and us in it) express itself.

I think God speaks every language, and mathematics is one of them. I believe there is likely to be such a thing as "sacred geometry," as I know there are energetic effects from just about every thing in the material world.
I don't know much about the details of "the language of mathematics", but God understands every language there is... he can even speak to rocks (and get them to co-operate with him), so I'm sure he also commands the language of mathematics.
Pretty interesting question, thanks. If you know something I don't know, please share. :-)
Love and Peace.

If so then why were some of the greatest speakers of this language of god persecuted by the church? Galileo would be one easy example. Does the church not represent god?
Would that mean that most modern Atheist Mathematicians actually speak and write the language of god? They may not care for that connotation.

I don't agree with it. I think it is a logical tool. We use it to MODEL reality but I don't believe it is reality itself. It can reveal hidden truth's sometimes but cannot generate new truths. I like Einstien's statement "Insofar and mathamatics is exact, it does not match reality. And, insofar as mathematics matches reality, it is not exact." My interpretation is that it is a powerful way to interface what goes on in our minds with the outside world, but it is an imperfect interface. It is perfect in our minds but is not perfect outside or our minds.
Google "Uses and Misuses of Logic" for some good reading.

idk about that but God uses numbers in, like, everything lol
I'm going to study this later but off-hand,
3
7
40
1000
are all very significant numbers that reappear time and again in the past, in the Bible, and now. They're not just numbers, they mean something, they do something.
