These days, most of us are bi-lingual or multi-lingual. I am a multi-lingual. I know, besides English, such languages as Tami to speak, to read and write, Hindi, to speak and read, Telugu, to speak only. I can understand and speak a little bit of Malayalam and understand a little of Kannada.

I can handle English, Spanish, Italian and French fairly well. I also know some of other languages. It is one one of my hobbies and can be rather rewarding; in fact it is enriching of one's understanding of the world.
When I use a sight in an other country, if I can ,I use the language used there. It is sort of fun!

I can speak English. I speak Gujarati fluently, but I am very bad at reading and writing it (although I did learn). I can fully understand Hindi too but cannot speak or write it.
Sorry, I am not in your contacts, but you may add me if you wish.

Well I can't really say I am bilingual, as my Hindi is poor so I use it sparingly, I guess my English is more functional, I can understand many vernacular Indian languages though.
