My New Years resolution for the Red Sox would be for them to stay healthy and injury-free in the off season. In my opinion, they have a VERY good roster in the way of pitching, fielding, etc. So far, the roster is virtually the same as last year. As for a resolution for baseball in general...I hope these next couple of months go by quickly so us baseball fans can enjoy baseball again. Happy New Year!

My New Years resolution for 2008 would be to finally not expect anything from the Oakland Athletics. Its obvious that management is looking to just cut costs and not actually try to put together a winning franchise. Trading Haren was dumb, as the prospects they got in return were good, yet I think if they were gonna go ahead and trade a Cy Young winner, they could have possibly have gotten more from NY or Boston, look what theyre coughing up for Santana. Even Cabrera and Willis demanded a kings ransom from Detroit.... damn you Billy Beane, damn you all to hell!!!!!

My favorite team is the sf giants and my new years resolution for them is to not sign anymore older players. I would rather them just continue to play the young players like nate shierholtz, fred lewis, dan ortemier, raja davis, kevin frandzen. Im tired of every year having to watch them sign older players. I dont know about other giants fans but i would enjoy watching the young players play even if we dont win alot. At least they run fast around the bases unlike bonds jogs to first on a groundball. For baseball in general they need to get rid of bud selig, he has definitly been bad at his job.

Happy New Year Scooter the Baseball Squirrel! I hope your New Years is good and brings you happiness after the tough times 2009 has given you. I believe the Brewers have a solid offense and defense, but they need quality pitching. I believe and wish they get another ACE alongside Yovani Gallardo, if they do this I believe they will be strong enough to fight hard in the NL Central and good enough to win. It is my wish, I want it happen. *poof*

I think the Pittsburgh Pirates should petition to join the Triple-A International League.
And Commissioner's office should ease up on the sanctimony surrounding performance enhancing drugs and admit the players, the owners, and the media conspired to hide drug use.

That the Yankees win the World Series in the last year of the original Yankee Stadium. It would be nothing short of poetic.

i would like the yankees to acquire some bullpen help like damaso marte and also to play the playoffs in stadiums without bugs swarming your best pitcher and causing him to mess up. oh and johan santana would be nice as well only if they would keep phil hughes cuz hes the only guy who won a game in the 07 playoffs for the yankees so why would you trade him?

That the Yankees will prove they don't need Johan Santana to win the Division again and that Hughes Chamberlain & Kennedy show they are the real deal.
