LITY and Bob-I was just going with the insignificant Swedish born Flyers.What would have been something is if Lindbergh didn't get into that car.

All this talk makes me Hungary for Swedish meatballs! But I'm Russian around too much to get anything Finnish-ed. Maybe I'll just pick up a Danish and pay by Czech. LOL

Price.............excellent commentary there. Nothing German-e about it!
I loved Per-Erik Eklund, he was a great player who took a while to really adaped to the NHL style of play. He was a joy to watch.
Tommy Soderstrom sucked eggs big time. He was a sieve, even in the big pad era. The Flyers had one of Sweden's greatest in nets when they had the great Pelle Lindbergh.
In the history of the Flyers, I don't think you can consider Eklund as insignificant.

If you only consider Naslund's Vancouver stats, and his role as a Canuck, I think he edges out both of them. Naslund has finished in the top 5 in scoring 3x (twice runner up and if he doesn't get cliped by that asshole Steve Moore, probably is a 3 time runner-up), Sundin has done it once, and Alfredsson's never done it. In fact, Alfredsson and Sundin only have 2 appearances in the top 10 in their career.

I always liked Pelle Eklund for what he contributed. Not a physical player but a talented guy who scored some key goals during his time here.

Soderstrom-puke. Lindbergh, now he was a goalie. Eklund was good but I don't have him in the same class as Sundin, Forsberg and Alfredsson.
