web cam requirements?

Hey all:
I have windows 2000 SP4. I want to purchase a web cam 1.3 pixel? I also have a USB port available.Will it work ?

Yes, it will, IF the web cam comes with W2K drivers AND your PC has USB 2.0 ports AND you do all Windows Updates.

No, it won't, IF the web cam comes with W2K drivers AND your PC has NO USB 2.0 ports, USB 1.0 and 1.1 will be slow and choppy.

No, it won't, IF the web cam doesn't come with W2K drivers it likely won't even work.

I'm sure I missed a few combinations, but you get my drift. Make sure the Web Cam specs match your PC's specs.
