She lost the baby because of the stress she got when he left her.

His erection problem is likely a symptom of the guilt he feels about the abortion/lacking of stepping up to be a father....wimping out...He needs to do talk therapy to own his own actions and feelings about this...the sooner the better...he needs help immediately...

Slowly day by day his pain will lesson, he must morn loosing her. Really can't blame her for not wanting him back. Give him time, and just be the sholder to cry on without judging him. He was a fool, lessson learned time to move on!

If you feel he is becoming obsessive or Deeply depressed than a little help from the Doctor will do him some good. Short term anti-depressants. If you think he is suicidal, or pathological do not hesitate to contact the authorities. He is your brother, don't let me be that stupid. Tell him you love him lots and that no matter what a new wonderful person will come along when he is ready.

Hi I know whats it's like to have Depression. Basically he needs to go and see a Counsellor. He also needs to have support around him. Like loving family & friends that will listen to him when he needs someone to talk to or a shoulder to cry on. Even see a Doctor about his erection problem, he might need something to help him relax, before having sex. I was one day off see a Councellor for 4yrs. It helpped me out a great deal.

Tell him that he needs to learn how to love himself first and that he shouldn't need to be in a relationship to be happy. You have to be complete before you enter a relationship otherwise things will go wrong. Help him develop other aspects of his life rather than rushing into relationships.

It's natural to want to help those we care about. But this can only be accomplished by your brother himself. You might suggest he find a therapist who charges on a sliding scale--unless he has insurance coverage. Talking this out will help.

OMG is it even legal to get an abortion at 4 months gestation?

I feel for you, maybe he should see a doctor.

Don't mean to sound uncaring, but he made his bed and now has to lie in it. Time is the only thing that will help him get over it. 18 years of child support should be enough. Don't tell him though, he'll feel even worse.
