Oh yes, I remember. Never really cared for them, but boy were they popular. I kind of liked the bad boy look. Kind of long and greased up, duck tail, and a lock of hair hanging down over the forehead. Cool. I am laughing now. Oh yes, they wore white tee shirts with a pack of cig. rolled up in the sleeve. Laughing out loud now!

I have worn a flat top since the 1950s and still do because they are so easy to take care of. However, I have a regular flat top which does not have the long sides, which just looks stupid. As far as a greasy hair cut, I don't use anything on my hair and it still stand up.

I don't remember the "flat top" as having a D.A. in the back. The flat top I recall, was short all over & the neckline was squared off. Butch wax was used to keep the top & sides of the flat top standing up. When I think of a flat top, I think of the late George Gobel.

I remember guys wearing flat tops or crew cuts. I still see them today without the DA. I liked longer hair on guys when I was growing up, but now I think the shorter hair is nice.---Luvs

Yes, my husband wore his hair in a flat-top before we started dating. I was a Beatles fan and talked him into growning his hair long. I thought flat-tops looked awful and hated the greasy hair look on any boy or man.

Yep, I remember those. Flat on top with white side-walls is a popular style today.

I had one starting at age 12 until age 36. Mine was short all over tho. We called them "crew cuts".
