Nothing sappy or romantic and I don't have much money. And skip the sexual answers...
Something he'd enjoy being that he's a man's man.
KEY WORD is COOL.

If ya'll don't think he gets the sexual stuff too, then you probably aren't happy people. Of course he does, what else do men like? I KNOW the obvious answers, that's why I'm not asking for them, golly!

I did this for my partner last week and he really appreciated it.
I bought a big package of balloons (72 of them) and I made a sign on the wall that said "I love you because..." and then I wrote reasons on all the balloons. I had a nice dinner ready for him when he got home and it was great! He loved it and he's not the romantic or sappy type necessarily.
It was really easy to do and only took a couple hours. Something kind of fun and different--plus I think it cost me about $5.
So maybe do something like this?
Good luck

I think that your girlfriend wants you to gain weight because of her own insecurities. Yes, she is afraid that you will leave her for someone who is more "fit" or whatever. I realize that you care about her for who she is and want to only be with her, but it can be difficult for her to feel like that's true if she has low self-esteem. Try talking to her and letting her know that you like her the way she is. Regarding the mentioning of other guys being attractive, I don't believe it means anything. She just feels comfortable enough around you that she doesn't think of not saying things like that. It doesn't mean that she finds you as a person any less appealing. I have a boyfriend and things like that just pop out of my mouth without a thought; it doesn't mean that I'm less attracted to him at all. If it bothers you though, you should let her know and mention how your ex felt the need to censor you so that she understands where this is coming from. However, perhaps she doesn't mind it if you mention things like that, which is why she does it herself. I know I wouldn't care if my boyfriend mentioned that some other girl was hot (hot girls are out there and I know he has eyes).

Spend time alone doing something he likes to do. Your leaving very little room for advice with all your restrictions: "Nothing sappy or romantic and I don't have much money. And skip the sexual answers.."

Jeezus... skip the sex answers? You guy must be gay or you don't like sex with him.
You want him to feel cool or know that he's the man then sex is what it is. That's what men want 80% of the time.
you standing there totally naked offereing him WHATEVER he wants and telling him during the sex how great he is, how great if feels and really expressing the pleasing experience of you is what makes this man feel like the man. He is the king in his mind because he feels he's given you the best pleasure he can.
Fake the orgasm or several of them and let him feel like the total stud he should be. Sex with his wife is the greatest joy there is. It's doesn't cost anything, makes you feel good physically and emotionally.
You have the chance to make this guy feel like the world and all you want is to purchase him something to feel cool.
Marriage over, toss the ring and call it a day. Game over man, game over.

i'd wear something kinky for him and just leave him alone
let him to his game or whatever
and not say much
or ask too much out of him
let him come to you
he'll notice how sexy you look and wanna get some
trust me
maby he won't
but it's worth a shot
just be patient with him and loveing
and don't be too dirty
he doesn't have time for that
he's an old man and he just wants some piece
but you can bring out that drive in him
just give him some time
and one other thing
what are we talking about?

You know all the guys are going to say bj, right?
Make his favorite food, or better yet, tell him he should have a guys night, have his friends come over for poker or something, and you'll make some wings and potato skins. If he's a man's man, that should be right up his alley.

Is he into football? How about arranging a football party for him and his friends for his favorite team's final game of the season. Provide lots of good food (wings, chili, pizza), beer (if he is a beer drinker) and a fun atmosphere.
(I am not a guy but my husband suggested this)

I agree with the poker/sports game idea above. Organize a guys night for him. Makes you look like the coolest wife ever.

What ever happened to just saying "I love you". Too old fashioned? Or is it necessary nowadays to do something spectacular or of a sexual nature just to drive that point home?
