You are only a part of the middle class, if you have at least $100,000 in your savings account! as assets and equity do not count!

Look at a Pyramid, for example, the lower class are at the base and are more in number than the middle and upper class

I love being an upper class citizen... what about you? :)

First of all I dont know if you understand the concept of Yahoo Answers. It is to help others and to have your questions and concerns offered. Some also have a fun time with it. However, according to your profile and posts (and name) all you can think of is to "brag" about oh so much money you have. Grow up, get a job and see how life is. One day you might just having nothing, and then maybe you'll start to feel bad about all of these questions you've asked about the poor smelling bad. Btw, it's citizens not "sitizens". Don't worry about what citizens are claiming to be. In the mean time, get a job and learn some skills because one day "all that money" will be gone.

Very few smart people of any class keep at least $100,000 in their savings account. Do you know why? Well, there are two main reasons. First of all, savings earn far less interest than stocks, bonds, or pretty much any other investment. Many savings accounts earn less interest than inflation, so by keeping your money there you are effectively losing it bit by bit. Second, the FDIC only insures $100,000 of your account, no matter how much is in it. So if the bank were to go under or if there were some kind of national crisis, everything you have in the bank above $100,000 would be toast.

If you are indeed "upper class", you absolutely need to know these things, because otherwise you'll be poor before you know it.

Also, you'd do well to do away with your smug sense of superiority.

Just for your information, it is quite tacky to talk about your money. Also, if you have the time to spend on here talking about how much you have, you probably don't have anything. You may have gone to some website (reputable or not) and looked up the definition of what you think middle-class citizens should have. You need to grow up and get a life, no one on here takes you seriously. You are in serious need of attention due to your emotional needs not being met somewhere and are a complete joke. Cheers!

LOL, Sitizens...

Thsi is just stupid and the description by Bonny of the 'true blue bloods' is almost as silly. Sounds like a movie script or better yet a sitcom. Man, do you people really believe this stuff or are you bored and looking for some attention? This is an answer group so here's your answer:
You're a loser. I know plenty of losers who are millionaires in the finance world. They are losers with big bacnk accounts, 2nd and 3rd marriages and people still laugh at their inane and silly lives. Yes, people laugh at you.

Are we supposed to be impressed? You may have money, but honey, you ain't rich.

Couple of points to ponder:

1. You can't buy class--you either have it or you don't.

2. You can't take any of that money or any other of your worldly possessions with you when you die.

Truly rich people are kind to others and share their fortune. This is all the Lord cares about in the end. I sure hope you have more to substantiate your existence than just your "wealth."

I think you've got your figures mixed up. It relates more to annual income than net worth. Many people's have net worth is way more than just 100 grand yet make less than that annually.

What I see a lot is folks living like they are above what they really are and that is why you have so many people loosing their homes these days.

As a general rule (something I learned from my dad who on paper was worth in the millions) it is best to live beneath your means that beyond it and remain debt free.

So are you spending some of that wealth on cocaine, like so many upper class people do? Great way for upper class people to show the world how happy they are.

I could tell you where to put your "upper class" attitude.... but you would probably just hire some "low class" to put it there for you... most of you are too lazy to even... never mind. I do not feel like getting deleted today.
