A Christmas miracle seemed the only hope for a five-year-old Melbourne boy [Matthew Ristovski] who had been on life support for four weeks after his heart suddenly failed, however, to the amazement of his doctors, a rare medical phenomenon has saved his life, Matthew's heart recovered in the early hours of Christmas Day.

Actually in The Middle ages Santa Clause was St.Nicholas, who was throwing gifts trough the chimneys.Santa Clause had been famous in the beginning of 19th century. The contemporary variant of St.Clause is a result of an advertising campaign of Coca Cola before or during the World War II,So St.Clause is a fiction, but the miracles are done only by God.

There was a Santa Clause a long time ago that made toys for the town to all the good children as he gave coal to the bad. People hold this tradition, but it's your parents or guardians that become the santa to the kids. Santa does not do miracles, but God does and he seemed to have given a miracle to Mattew and his family. I bet his parents couldn't ask for a better Christmas present than to have their child saved.

im confused
in the script or something there was santa claus talking??
he isnt real tho...
edit: ooh ok i undertsand but who was santa on the script or was that a script?? and santa did not do that...God did
Santa isnt real so he could not have done a miracle
the only person who can do miracles are Jesus and God
unless you worship Santa but i dont know anyone who worships Santa..im not Australian and idk if u r or not
i know i sound like im making yawl sound stupid
but if u didnt know and u r in Austrailia and u have a different tradition or something
in America Santa is this fat, jolly man with a big white beard and twinkling eyes who young children think is real and he comes down your chimney with a big sack of toys for all the children of the world. He leaves presents at your house but since he is imaginary your parents leave them there at night. He rides a sleigh pulled by flying reindeer and you leave him milk and cookies (it supports the fact that he is so fat)
in malls in stuff you see "santa" and you tell him what you want for christmas and every christmas eve night at midnight he comes to your house but you can never see him (supports the fact that he is imaginary)
he is based on this man from lloooong long ago named st. nick who gave presents to children.
is it the same in australia? and on that thing from your link was that a script? and if it was the script from a news channel does everyone there believe in santa? my parents told me when i was 9 or 10 please dont be offended if you believe im just saying my beliefs cuz im american...he isnt real here??
and on that script thing how did they show "santa"??

Christmas is all about Jesus, Santa Claus comes from the life of St. Christopher who used to drop little bags of gold down chimneys on Christmas Eve to glorify the birth of Jesus !

Of course. I heard his sleigh the other night. There were foot prints coming from my fireplace and all my presents were in my neighboring farmers horse and cart. I guess the bearded one made a mistake and forgot to put them under the tree.

i really don't think its true... its just luck.
they always try to make that Santa clause is real so it can last longer ,for all generations
normally they have trust on Jesus that their will increase to get better! and some times miracle happen...in all times!!
my grandma had the cancer for 50 year on critical.
now she is dead... she died at 98 years old........
in think god helped them... not Santa clause
