Actually LET them have free speech!

If it's boring, sounds like it's got too many rules and regulations to all that FREEDOME!

Want to watch things turn interested. Prompt them.

"What does everyone think about religion in schools?"

Ah, can't do that. No free speech. Boring. Too many rules and regulations.

Free censored speech or free speech.

There is no middle ground, except for shouting FIRE in a crowded room.

Dullness comes from people too afraid to speak because of the fear of what may come of it.

That's called latent repression.

Study books on revolutions & on education reform, as a class. Have students each read just one chapter, and take one sentence they want to discuss with the class. Have each student read the quote from the chapter to the class & start a group discussion on it.

Examples:
*Rules for Radicals*, Saul Alinsky
*Pedagogy of the Oppressed* , Paulo Friere
*Interventions*, Noam Chomsky
*Rethinking Schools*
