What are the top 10 reasons to love NYU?

I'm just trying to figure out why people like NYU.

Diverse, international student body
The Village
It's urban and there is always something going on
The breadth of NYU class and school-wise, huge university
You can live in downtown Manhattan and walk to school
Lots of jobs available in the area
Close to business, arts, publishing and other world centers

I can see you are trying to figure out what school to go to...BU or NYU.

I was almost faced with the same dilemna.

My suggestiion...go to BU. It feels more like a college community...NYU blends in the city so much you don't even know you are in NYU when you are in it. BU is much bigger...and Boston is a great college city. Almost everybody is a student of somesort. We love our Sports here..NYU is not known for any sport...BU has a great college hockey program and have a great rivalry with Boston College and Michigan. Even if you don't like hockey, you will end up loving college hockey and hating anything Boston College.
Most Americans that go to school in Boston are from NY or New Jersey...NYC is a great place and you can hop into the train or drive if you really want to go for the weekend...which I usually do but there is no better fun than than schooling in Boston.
