This is not a kneejerk response.
I'd love to go, if I was a single childless man. It would be an incredible opportunity.
I am a husband and father, however, and the shuttle program is past its prime. They've lost two, after all.
Five shuttles were made, 120 flights, 2 vehicles were destroyed.
A 1 in 60 chance of dying? Nah.

If i didn't have a family, and wasn't pregnant again, i'd say yes, but since i do and i am, i'm going to say no, but that's because the average mission takes 3 years, and i don't want to be away from my kids or hubby for that long.

As much as I would love to go, I'm claustrophobic and would probably freak out in space!
