iv just come off birth control 1 week ago,but before i come off i was ment to have my period but it never come on,and still has not come on even know im off the pill.iv been under a bit of stress recently but im fine now.when will my period come on.

Stopping birth control can cause a delay and getting your first period off the pill. It can also take a woman's body 3-6 months before her periods will become regular again.
Please bear in mind that if you had irregular periods before you started taking the pill that your periods might become irregular again.
Stress could also cause your period to be delayed due.
I would recommend that if you have any concerns about this, you see your doctor/gyno for further evaluation.

When you came off the pill did you finish the month or did you stop before the month was done, if you stopped before the month was done then it could be because you have screwed up your hormone levels a bit and it needs to level out so it will just take a little time. The thing is the pill screws up your system in the first place, tricks your body into thinking that it is already pregnant so you won't get pregnant again, silly really but it works, but it does mess up the hormones, so they do need time to recuperate, and that won't happen overnight. Relax, if you haven't had unprotected sex and you are not worried about a pregnancy then just give your body the time it needs and don't stress out about it okay. Good Luck

Stress affects the hypothalmus gland which regulates your hormones. Your period may have stopped because of this and because of the fact you were on the pill. It takes a wee while to get the hormones in order again. Of course there is always a chance that you may be pregnant so I would rule that out firstly by doing a pregnancy test.

It could be due to you coming of birth control as your hormones are all over the place, that is because you ent coming on if you have not come on with a week i would advise, you take a pregnancy test, or go up to your doctors

both of my twin cousins were on the pill when they got pregnant.. the must be very fertile...its happened to one of them twice, with two different types of the pill.. perhaps you should look into it!
