i thought we were fighting a war on terrorism and in Iraq?
why has our commander in chief taken so much "personal time" (405 vacation days so far; over 1/7th of his term to date)
and don't give me the line about "working vacations". how do you think the economy would fare if everyone in the country "worked" on "vacation" for 57.85 work days a year?
ALSO, how do you think the troops that have served 24-32 straight months without their promised leave/redeployment time feel about their CIC's work ethic?

if you would like me to answer a question about Clinton, then ask one. yours is not an answer to THIS question. further proof that, when confronted with a question you and other cons CAN'T answer, you resort to the tried and true method of Clinton bashing. i will accept your nonanswer as an "I WIN" medal.

i wasn't aware that we knew one another, much less anything about one anothers work schedule/habits. for the record i have a job and a family. i get 4 weeks paid vacation per year. thats just over 30% of what dubby has taken. also, please note that people think you are silly when you assume things about others.
no, campaigning is how a candidate "auditions" for the job of president. i would say "interviews" but usually those that go for a job interview are honest.

No way, George W. Bush is never on vacation. He has the mind of an ancient chess master, combined with the reflexes of a cat. He never takes a break. Never sleep. Never slows down. Even right now, 10 days before he's gone and mostly forgotten, he is solving the world's problems. All of them. Just like he has been for the past 8 years. The only people who don't understand this are the liberal media and all the sheep who follow them. And the majority of American voters. In a hundred years, people won't just remember him as a great president--they'll remember him as THE GREATEST president. Not just in America. IN THE WORLD. And maybe even THE WHOLE EFFING UNIVERSE. The only people on vacation when BUSH is on the job are the terrorists. PERMANENT VACATION. (Except on Sept 11, when he presided over the biggest failure of the US government to keep it's people safe in the 200+ year history of the nation.)

Shall we call Guiness Book of World records now or wait until 2009? How many days did George Washington work during his presidency. I wonder how often John Adams left the capital for a trip to Braintree. War time presidents like Madison, Mc.Kinley, Wilson, FDR, Truman, Eisenhower, LBJ, and Nixon spent at home goofing off, er I mean working. It would be nice to find figures on exactly how many days each was home and how many were working in the capital or on a trip on our behalf.

well because he has taken alot of vacations.
Dont be a fool though. The President of the USA is always at work. It doesnt matter where they are. If he is at his ranch but in teleconference with a senate panel or reviewing a bill or congressmen come to see him or whatever... time off does not mean anything to a person in that position and I dont care if your talking about Bill Clinton or Bush or whoever.
They cant get away from their work really.

an overwhelming majority of any major world events, deals, agreements and compromises have occured at camp david throughout the history of this country
please try to learn what a presidential "vacation" really is
dont have to be a genious to know that the president of the united states doesnt take one single day off they are always working. I was told a story where clinton had to sign a key order on the putting green at camp david. But if some people have such a hatred for someone that they dont accept the reality of what being the most powerful man in the world does then I guess its easy to make fools of themselves.

can you please site your srouce on how this compares with other presidents.
As for working vacation, if while you where "on vacation" you where still meating with foriegn dignataries, and planning budgets and national policy, I would agree to pay you for that time.
For my job we often get days out of the office but we must carry a cell phone in case of an emergency. We still get paid.

He needed them, man! The president has had to deal with soooooo much!
I don't need to list them, I hope?
I did that before, and the page was too long for anyone to take the time to read it all.

I'd venture to guess that the leader of the free world, regardless of who it is at the time, ever has any true time "off". Nice try though.

Apparently is very easy to say something and do another. Since he is in government housing, on government health care etc. he wants his salary to feel like welfare too.
