how do you get the metal cap in super mario 64?

i have th flying one and the invisible one, but i can't find the metal one. anyone know?

Go to Hazy Maze Cave (in basement)

Go to where the 1st star is, the lake with the 'sea monster'. Go on its back and steer it to a ledge, you'll need to pound its back to get to the ledge itself. Go through the door and you'll see another metal pool. Hop in and you'll be in the Metal Cap course.
