If i burn an avi or an divx movie to a DVD+R (not an DVD-R but an DVD+R), will it work on my home dvd player or any dvd players? I use windows media player to burn. And how can I empty a DVD+R disk completely so i can burn other files to it. Please Help. Thank you.

You may be able to play it, but some DVD players are picky so best try it first. You cannot empty a DVD+R disk, as it is read only. You can only empty (or erase) DVD+RW or DVD-RW disks.
