what if MLK was a communist? what would you think about him?? what would you think of the civil rights movement??

well hold that thought.

now, look at this.
the founder of the ACLU, Roger Baldwin, was a pro-soviet commi, here is just one of his quotes. "I am for socialism, disarmament, and, ultimately, for abolishing the state itself... I seek the social ownership of property, the abolition of the propertied class, and the sole control of those who produce wealth. Communism is the goal."

Here is the question.
knowing that the founder of the ACLU was a commi, do you think people should depend on it as they do today?

I think that the ACLU .is the most evil of evils that could ever happen to any country. They are trying to destroy America, And they will, if not Stopped,
But, They will never control me I will die First. They try to tell us what, where, when and how. and The people are falling for it hook line and sinker. My best friend lived in a communist country. while she was growing up. When she tells me stories of her life ,I cry. you need her answering this question. The ACLU will not stop if, we don't stop them. And that through voting a President in, who will show us how to get out from under them, That's not going to happen tomorrow, when your told you can't have Christmas tree and lights ,put up two add 200 more lights. When they tell you you can't say Merry Christmas Say Merry Christmas, Thank you Jesus, When they tell you you can't decorate your own business with anything religious,
you might offend someone ,Decorate it the way you always did ,tell those you offend if they don't like it go back where they come from We were here first. Fight this people.if not for you, for your Children.

It would not bother me in the least if Martin Luther King Jr. was a communist and I have some good reasons why.

1.The United States during almost the entirety of his life did not treat Blacks as citizens and often not even as human beings. The very fact that a civil rights movement was neccessary in the first place underlines this fact.

2. When you live in a democracy/republic and yet your fellow human beings are, withgreat frequency, for little or no offense at all hung then castrated then burned in public with little children attending laughing and drinking lemonade it tends to take away from your faith in the justice of that system.

3. The communists often approached Blacks during this period with a message of equality and claims that racism did not exist in communist societies. Lacking eveidence to the contrary many Blacks went along or were intrigued.

4. I am not and never have been a fan of communism. It is an eastern political method that fits in with eastern and African cultural valuessome times but not always) and hence has been more popular there. I AM a fan of Martin Luther King Jr. though.

It is irresponsible to question a non-violent movement for equal protection under the law, equal opportunity, and an end to racial discrimination and segregation because ONE of the leaders had a viewpoint that we do not agree with.

His PRACTICE was to appeal to the conscience of American people in order to gain equality . He had some flaws as we all do. SO WHAT ? Do you want to return to segregation ? If you do then just say so and stop hiding behind malarky about MLK being a communist.

What we honor about MLK is his message, not the man; I will agree the man is flawed but his message isn't..

MLK's message was to unite the races, promote foregiveness and heal wounds. Sadly, the Jackson and Sharpton civil rights leaders pervert Dr King's message by race baiting, promoting racial conflict and personally profiting in power and money, selling out their own people.

I believe the socialist and communist influence is the primary reason for the corruption in civil rights.

The ACLU is almost always on the wrong side of every issue; there is nothing genuine about the intentions of the ACLU; they are clearly in the pocket of communist movement. The ACLU is and always has been the enemy of the USA.

The personal beliefs of the leader really have jack **** to do with the organization itself. The Catholic pope was a former Hitler Youth, and yet all Catholics aren't necessarily Nazis. In the same way, all ACLU members aren't "pro-soviet commies". And I do not see a single logical reason for you to bring MLK into this. What if? What if I had the head of a goat? What if the world turned to cheese tomorrow? Forget that. Let's deal with what we know.

Just because Martin Luther King wasn't perfect in every way doesn't negate all the good things he did for the country.

And as for the ACLU, why does it matter who founded it? Its founders are long dead and gone and they have nothing to do with the organization as it is now. If you want to criticize the ACLU, you can do a lot better than that argument!

I too heard that then. i think of a few Marxists and different communists, a super sort of softer socialists, and a who lot of progressives have been in contact with the civil rights circulate. He linked with a number of them for that. He may be a communist and nevertheless a Christian. most of the unique Calvinist and Anabaptist settlers here formed communist communities. I understand Plymouth Colony develop into communist the 1st 300 and sixty 5 days and extremely virtually failed through fact too many settlers slacked off in the fields. the 2nd 300 and sixty 5 days had relatives plots and that they did plenty extra effective. besides, i do no longer think of he develop into even however he had an area spirit. He sounded socialistic yet Christian philosophy is community orientated and promotes inter-relatives sharing, no longer in simple terms Intra-relatives sharing as most of the secular international practices. playstation : coaching would not help that. on the different, many pretty knowledgeable human beings stay in fairy tale deluded worlds. possibly that's what you spot. human beings circulate to college at six years old and not in any respect leave. they have PhDs yet nevertheless think of like six 300 and sixty 5 days olds. they create or carry forth attractive sounding philosophies that develop into mess ups in the actual international through fact they do no longer artwork with the societies there. you won't be able to cram cooperative community orientated theories into tightly relatives orientated cultures. the folk and the leaders will bleed them to death for his or her households like all of the Marxist ones did. in simple terms a uncommon few cultures like the Norse could make it artwork through fact they have been communal for hundreds of years.

As a very hard core conservative i doubt that King was a Communist in the true sense of the definition but some of his left leaning ideals are probably fueled by Marxist ideals

Somehow, that does not surprise me much at all. I just don't understand how most of them will deny that about the ACLU. In my home, they are a thorn all of the way.

If MLK was a commie, they would deny it and stand behind him. Yet another one that couldn't keep his pants on.

It was a damned lie then and its a damned lie now.
