I occaisionally have my sound cut out on my computer when playing audio and video files. Originally it was just MIDI files but just today the sound cut while playing FSX. Now there is no sound for any files, through youtube WMP, nothing. Volume is up, speakers are plugged in properly and sound drivers under the "my computer-manage" thing have no yellow exclamation points. Any solutions? Thanks for your time!

This happens to me a lot. I just restart the computer and it fixes itself.

If you have multiple sound devices on your computer make sure the are not conflicting, select the right one for primary audio. otherwise you might need a new sound device.

Call your computer manufacturer's customer service for help. Hopefully you have a Dell because they have excellent customer service.
