Yesterday I got yet another hideous candle-related thing from my sister, this time a monstrous wall sconce creation. She's convinced that I have some sort of out-of-control candle fetish.
My other sister always gives me sweaters that are likewise devoid of taste. I will wear it the next time we meet, then it will go to the needy.
The important thing, of course, is to accept any gift graciously. And trust me, this has helped me hone my acting skills over the years!

Fortunately, I didn't.
But the only gifts I ever received in my life that I would never use are candles and perfume (I don't like fire and I am allergic to perfume).
