When a cup (lace and 3 sectioned) is pushing down on the breast tissue across the top of the cup and causing a bit of spillage (not much just a slight bump) but at the same time the center of the cup where the 2 seams meet is wrinkled and a little loose...what does this mean?

I've read that spillage is too small of a cup and wrinkles is too big of a cup...but I have both problems. This happens with many brands and fits (ful cup, plunge, etc) but only 3 sectioned lace cups like this one - http://www.figleaves.com/us/product.asp?product_id=FRA-AA5720&mci=&size=&colour=&image=r2000-p302234-p00000-style

Do I need a bigger cup or a smaller one? I'm confused!

I don't have a problem with foam cups or single seams that run vertical...only 3 sectioned cups and I already know my correct size. I want to know why this only happens with a 3 section cup.

VS is crap and does not measure properly.

It sounds like you might need to go up a cup size and down and band size. It would be best to go to a reputable store and get sized. Do not go to Victoria Secret though because they will try to get you to wear a size that they carry rather than a size that you actually need. Ex...I need a 36 DDD but they do not carry DDD in their stores so their sales people have recommended to me to try a 38 DD instead just to try to sell me a bra. I know that Nordstrom's is a good place to go.

Try a larger cup size for the spillage, the wrinkles shouldn't matter as long as you have good support and coverage. I know Lane Bryant has service people that measure you for the proper bra fit. Good Luck

Get fitted at a reputable upscale store. Do not go to be sized at VS because they are not trained well and the fit will still be off.

Also, If you are having fit issues you can see if there is a shop near you that custom makes bras to fit "between" sizes. Most big metropolitan cities have them.

It means that the bra you are talking about doesn't fit you properly. Go to a bra specialty shop and have then fit you accordingly. Most women do not wear the best bra suited for them; have no idea exactly what size they are; or how to select a bra. Plus, every manufacturer and each bra that they make can and usually does fit differently for each person.
