This shouldn't be about Dims or Pugs...it should be about JUSTICE. BUSH IS A CRIMINAL...PERIOD! As is his puppeteer Cheney.
It SHOULD NOT matter what "party" these criminals
belong to--They deserve to be tried, incarcerated, or--better yet--hung for TREASON!
Before this country became owned by corporations, the things that these two traitors have done would NEVER have been tolerated! And yet they still get paychecks for destroying our country and ruining out status in the world community.

When Bush is no longer president, he will no longer enjoy protection from persecution for crimes, so anybody and everybody that wants to can hire a lawyer and take him to court. Good luck with that. I imagine many groups will try and do this, both here and abroad, and I doubt any will come back with a conviction of guilt. It's not as simple as he and his administration doing things, it's more like thousands of people's interactions over the past 20 years, and a lack of information, the gaps of which are either still missing or were filled with false information.

Not unless they want to throw themselves in prison as well.
What people seem to conveniently forget is that the Democrats in Congress had access to the same intelligence as the Bush administration. Some of them, including Mrs. Clinton, DIDN'T EVEN READ IT before they voted to GIVE AUTHORITY to Bush to invade.
Let's not rewrite history here. The facts are out here for everyone to see. The democrats not only voted to give Bush war powers ( and only Congress can legally authorize war )KNOWING as we all did that he was planning to invade but they have CONSISTENTLY voted to continue to fund the war whilst giving lip-service to opposing it.
So go ahead, try to prosecute Bush. All he will do is present the voting records of the very people who are trying to prosecute him and ask that justice be equal. In other words they are at the very least aiding and abetting, to this very day, the "crime " that you wish to punish.
The big joke is that if things had gone well most of these guys wouldn't be saying a peep about "illegal war" etc.
How about addressing the REAL issue which is whether or not we should have pre-emptive war as a part of our foreign policy ? Or the other one which is how can we trust the democrats when they are FOR everything before they are against it ?

It would create an awful precedent. Each time the White House is passed from one party to another, the previous president would be put on trial for war crimes, or some other crimes, -- especially since in the minds of political fanatics, a "war crime" is whatever you want it to be.

President Bush has committed NO WAR CRIMES! Congress is the only ones who may declare a war, and the majority are Democrats.
BTW their (congress) approval rating has sunk to new lows, whereas the presidents approval rating has gone up!

Maybe by cooperating with the ICC the dems can help find a loophole in US law to help the ICC be able to bring about charges for War Crimes.
Bush has to be out of the Whitehouse for the ICC to be able to touch him and if the republicans take office he will never be punished.

No.
Because no crimes were committed.
People like yourself are frightening - you want to make doing anything that you disagree with politically a criminal act.

It's not like he burned his own citizens alive on American soil. That was Clinton. He also didn't personally shoot women and children. That was Kerry.

If he committed any, the charges have to come from Congress, not the White House.
