a tom boy is not so wrapped up in girly things, not vain. More comfortable in her own skin.
a girly girl usually has her own credit card by age 13

Ok,to me a tomboy likes boyish kind of stuff,maybe like Naruto,hangs out with the boys not to flirt but because they like some of the things the boys like.Girly-girls like pink and you know...girly stuff.(Like HSM,whatever) Most popular girls are girly girls.

Its all what you think. But a tomboy and a girly girl are the same thing. Girls. Everyone is original, but we are all the same.

Tomboys like doing things a guy likes doing and is not scared to try things.A girly girl is someone who likes to look good all the time or who can't do strong things or attempt it

I was (still am) a tomboy. I love sports -- both playing and watching. I'm a crew chief on our 3 car racing team. I can drive a tow vehicle with a 42 foot hauler behind it -- no problem. And I can back it into a 24 foot pit space on the first try. I have a 2nd degree blackbelt in Karate and I've kickboxed competitively for the past 7+ years. And I never, ever, played with dolls! LOL

well i usually distinguish tomboys and girly girls by what they wear and how they act. Tomboys usually are more boyish and love stuff that boys do like play football and stuff and will hate wearing skirts, dresses and stuff in pink whilst Girly Girls usually love girly stuff like shopping, watching romantic movies, girly sleepovers and adore wearing skirts dresses and stuff in pink. A tomboy dresses like guys, plays guy sports and hangs out with guys. It doesn't necessarily mean theyre lesbians, it just means that they tend to be more guy-ish.
A girly girl is someone that loves to wear make-up, shopping, indulges in flirting with guys, adn tends to use the word "OMG" or "Totally".

A tomboy is girl that does everything a guy would do, gets dirty and does car things and that kind of stuff. A girly girl shops at the mall everytime they get, wears makeup and would never even think about getting under any hood of a car, she like might like break like a like nail like okay. Like oh my god. like that is like so like wrong like okay. no just kiddding

to me a tomboy is a girl who likes to play like a boy
that doesnt mean she isnt sexy, i actually fell in love with alot of tomboys, they usually are thin and cute, and dont need makeup, and are easy going...
a girly girl to ME, is a girl who wears cutesy stuff, loves to do her hair, wears white pink, and is generally cute fun and energetic...
a girly girl to most other GIRLS is a pain in the a$s type who does her nails and hair and has to always dress to impress
wears too much makeup etc
